Feature documentary PTSD Love Stories by SQ Hub residents Seeding Time Pictures will premiere on ABC Compass this month.  

 

Produced and directed by Seeding Time Pictures founder, Arun Ketsirat and Produced and Written by Kym Melzer, the documentary follows those caring for ex-emergency service personnel and veterans who suffer PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) and explores the question “Who cares for the carers?”

 

Through the journeys of caregivers Kim Hodge, Cathy Sadler and Kate Tonacia, the documentary sheds light on mental health, intergenerational trauma, suicide and workplace stigma while showing how the different carers courageously stand up for their dreams and identity.

 

The production was supported by Screen Queensland through the 2020 Completion Fund – an initiative part of the COVID-19 support package, to assist long-form productions at a minimum rough-cut stage to be completed.
